Directions
By boat, car or plane, getting to the islands is a snap!
From Seattle, It's 90 miles north on Interstate 5, then take the Burlington/Anacortes/San Juan ferry exit #230, go west on Hwy. 20 to Anacortes, then follow signs to the Washington State Ferry Terminal.
From Vancouver, go south 80 miles on I-5, and follow the same signs.
By air, try Kenmore Air Seaplanes, departing from Lake union, landing in Friday Harbor, or Kenmore Air even charter your flight with Island Air, or take the best cruise in the islands with Washington State Ferries. Just make sure to show up a few hours before scheduled departure during the summer.
